...Wasn't I just saying something about world class waves?? So there I was, sitting at my computer pushing refresh on NOAA wind models for Cape Hatteras. The Oregon Inlet Buoy was reading 16+ feet at 12 seconds, but nothing you would paddle out into; complete Victory at Sea conditions. Then, out of nowhere, the winds changed due West. I think I let out an audible, "Oh my gosh..." Another click of the refresh button, and Surfline's models turned orange. ORANGE! Their highest rating! The East Coast NEVER goes orange, and if it does, YOU GO! I knew I would be going back to the lighthouse, but I didn't expect it would be so soon.
Cape Hatteras. Code Orange. good-->EPIC
